That works in Photo, or in Designer when artboards are not used. In Designer with artboards or Publisher, the custom view point also moves you to the artboard or page where you set it. It does not function as simply a zoom level.

Custom vew points are also document specific, and thus do not serve as a default for other documents. If you double-click in the Pages panel then the canvas always appears in its full width — regardless which zoom level you are in.

You never used it but it works? I did use it and — unfortunately — it does not work like that. If activated from another page it jumps to its 1 and only lonely home page view. But it does work like it’s documented to work. It is a view point, not a zoom level. When you use it you end up looking at the same view you had when you created that view point, which means zoom level and location in the document, just as in Photo and Designer.

Unfortunately there is no command to zoom to page width. In facing pages cmd-option-0 zooms to spread width. Usually I with cmd-1 or cmd-2 often with object activated or text cursor within object.

If I try to use zoom tool shortcut I just get a lotta spaces in my text. If needed, add some books under your computer to reach the appropriate height. You shall get close to the camera but not too close. The camera should frame your face, neck, and shoulders. Also, you shall be at the center of the frame. Considering the light : you shall light your face, and darken the space behind you: The light source should come from in front of you.

Natural light is highly advised. Clearing the background : you shall pay attention to your background if you are at home and minimize background distractions for the audience. Naming yourself : you shall put your real first and last name as username on ZOOM. Please avoid non-standard nickname.

Selecting a quiet place : you shall make sure that you are in a quiet environment: check your room acoustics, ensure there is no background noise, dogs barking, people walking by, and more. Avoiding distractions : you shall make your environment very simple and avoid any distracting object that you could be tempted to play with or touch while you are speaking to the audience like keys. Testing the connection speed : if you share your internet connection with others, you shall ask if they can limit their data consumption.

You shall make sure the audience is not looking at a blurry or pixelated image. Clone tool S. Shape tools cycle U. Text tools cycle T. Dodge, burn, and sponge brush tool cycle O.
