Firstly, I don’t even have the version of Office it mentions my version is Secondly, there is no option for “online repair” when I follow the directions laid out in that post, only “repair”, which I have tried already with no results.
Since you are running an older version and Office has not seen fit to update itself yet you could update it “manually”. If you are lucky you’ll get a newer version that addresses your issue. If he cannot run office he cannot update via your instructions.
That should update office but as with many other users like me who have been waiting 6 weeks now for a fix, it probably will not solve his problem. Which I have left back home and dont have access to it I would love to laugh at this, but im in school and have many assignments to submit.
